If something is missing here, email us — we would rather answer once than leave you guessing.
Memory Translator is a web app from Albrecht Apps GmbH. You translate text between languages, keep a history when you are signed in, favourite useful phrases, and practise them later as flashcards with spaced repetition.
You can translate without signing in. History, favourites, vocabulary, and learning are stored for your account only — we do not keep anonymous translation history.
Mark a translation as a favourite and it becomes a flashcard. In Learn, you review cards that are due. Correct answers schedule the card further out; mistakes bring it back sooner. That spaced-repetition rhythm is the core of the learning side.
We use Google Cloud Translation. Machine translation is very good for everyday phrases and less reliable for poetry, humour, or specialised jargon. Treat it as a strong helper, and double-check anything important.
The website translation and learning features described here are available without a paid plan. If that ever changes, we will say so clearly before charging anyone.
