Save words from ChatGPT
Connect ChatGPT to your Memory Translator account. When you ask it to remember a word from another language, it is saved to your vocabulary and shows up in Learn.
The word can be in any language Memory Translator translates. The explanation is in the language you want to understand it in. That language is the one you chose under Translate languages. You can also name a different explanation language in the same request.
ChatGPT signs you in to your own Memory Translator account when you connect. It can only read and save words for that account. Saving the same word again, in the same language pair, keeps the card you already have.

In ChatGPT, add a custom MCP server and paste that address. When asked, sign in with your Memory Translator account. Then ask ChatGPT to save a word, for example: “Add this French word to my Memory Translator vocabulary.”

Saving a word
A saved word needs the word itself (source_text) and the language it is written in (source_language), such as fr or en. The explanation (translated_text) and the language you want it in (target_language) are optional. If you leave the explanation language out, Memory Translator uses the language on your account. If you leave the explanation out, Memory Translator translates the word. An example sentence (example_sentence) is optional.
ChatGPT should check account_language before it saves words, and it should not invent an account id. Cards appear in Learn on the website and in the Memory Translator app.
